Manufactured from clear polycarbonate, the Pellucid Screen comprises
3 tough and rigid panels, each measuring 1800 x 650 x 10mm. A
light-sensitive image is adhered to one side using advanced
printing technology. The screen is semi-opaque and changes its
hue when lit from behind with either natural or artificial light. The screen is currently available in a number of different designs that are produced
by Mark Finzel using his own imagery. The screen has received extensive press coverage in magazines that include
Design Week, Frame and Blueprint.
Further uses: The screen has many different applications
depending on its location
and the image used. Further uses include setting individual, backlit
panels into walls or suspending them on ceiling-mounted runners, as
contemporary blinds for large windows and glazed doors. See Architectural
